Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, and critical care protocols in adult and pediatric areas, including blood gas analysis and equipment maintenance. Manage patient education while supporting care for over 25,000 patients annually across 427 beds at this Level 2 Trauma Center. Provide specialized respiratory therapy for the Level 3 Neonatal ICU. Requires an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and Georgia licensure. New graduates are welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous working experience or clinical rotations
- Great communication skills
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS
