Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures, critical care protocols, and blood gas analysis across adult ICU, medical/surgical, progressive care, and acute floors. Manage GE Carescape R860, Servo I, Drager VN500, and other ventilators while assisting with bronchoscopy and performing inpatient EKGs. Provide patient education, monitor compliance with pulmonary disease and sleep disorder therapies, and support deliveries and NICU care at the South Campus. Shadow the department and facility prior to starting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties
