Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general respiratory care and critical care procedures in adult and pediatric areas, conduct blood gas analysis, and manage all respiratory equipment. Provide patient education and support care for over 25,000 patients annually across 427 beds, including 32 adult ICU beds, 12 adult CICU beds, and the Level 3 Neonatal ICU. Maintain current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS while adhering to RT protocols. This role offers flexible scheduling including dayshift, nightshift, and WEO options within a supportive team environment at a Level 2 Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS
- Previous working experience or clinical rotations
- Great communication skills
