Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, testing, and education while monitoring compliance with therapies for pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders. Manage critical care procedures in adult ICU, medical/surgical ICU, progressive care, and acute care floors, including women's and neuro units. Assist with deliveries and NICU care, perform pulmonary function tests, conduct inpatient EKGs, and operate ventilators such as GE Carescape R860, Servo I, and HFOV systems. Provide bronchoscopy assistance and maintain all respiratory equipment. Shadow the department and facility to observe workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS
- One (1) year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties
