Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, testing, and education for pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders while monitoring therapy compliance. Manage critical care procedures in adult ICU, medical/surgical ICU, progressive care, and acute care floors, including women's center deliveries and NICU care. Conduct blood gas analysis, perform inpatient EKGs, and assist with bronchoscopy. Maintain and manage GE Carescape, Servo I, Drager, Phillips, and REMstar ventilation equipment. Perform outpatient and inpatient pulmonary function tests. Shadow the department and facility upon request.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties
