Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, conduct blood gas analysis, and execute critical care procedures in adult ICU, medical/surgical, and progressive care units. Manage GE Carescape R860, Servo I, Drager VN500, and other ventilators while assisting with bronchoscopy and performing inpatient EKGs. Provide patient education, monitor compliance with pulmonary and sleep disorder therapies, and support deliveries at the Women's Center NICU. Perform outpatient and inpatient pulmonary function tests. Cover South Campus shifts including ED and behavioral health units. Shadow the department and facility prior to starting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties
