Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, critical care protocols, and blood gas analysis in adult care areas. Maintain and manage all equipment while providing patient education. This full-time night shift role at Piedmont Macon North requires an active RRT with Georgia licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. No prior experience is needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BLS
- ACLS (ALS can be used in place of ACLS)
- PALS
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies
