Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, perform general respiratory care and critical care procedures, and manage blood gas analysis in adult care areas. Maintain and manage all equipment while delivering patient education. Requires an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, RRT certification, Georgia licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Full-time night shift at Piedmont Macon Medical Center offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care
- Successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Current certifications in BCLS
- Active practice and maintenance of all required competencies
