Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, testing, and education while monitoring compliance with pulmonary and sleep disorder therapies. Manage ventilators including Servo I, Drager VN500, and HFOV NICU vents; conduct blood gas analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, and inpatient EKGs. Perform outpatient and inpatient pulmonary function tests and support deliveries in the NICU. Work nights in adult cardiac ICU, medical/surgical ICU, PCU, and acute care floors across South Campus. Shadow the department and facility prior to starting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS
- Active practice and maintenance of all required competencies
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties
