Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general respiratory care and critical care protocols in adult care areas, and conduct blood gas analysis. Maintain and manage all equipment while providing patient education. Requires a full-time night shift schedule at Piedmont Macon Medical Center. Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, be credentialed as an RRT, and possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available for qualified applicants.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care
- Successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Current certifications in BCLS
- Active practice and maintenance of all required competencies
