Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, critical care respiratory procedures, and newborn respiratory care in Labor and Delivery. Conduct blood gas analysis, manage ventilators including Servo I and HFOV, and assist with bronchoscopy. Maintain equipment and provide education to patients and families across adult, neonatal, and acute care units. Shadow the department and facility to understand workflows. Work nights as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA. Requires an Associate's degree, NRP/ACLS/BCLS certifications, and neonatal experience. Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP
- Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies in both adult and neonatal areas
Desired Qualifications
- Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
