Job Summary
Provide respiratory care in critical care areas with ventilator management, administer medications and therapies, perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, assist in invasive/non-invasive procedures, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the health care team to deliver safe, high-quality care. Maintain documentation, support quality improvement initiatives, and ensure a safe environment. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and Registered Respiratory Therapist/Respiratory Care Professional credentials with 0-2 years of clinical experience and at least 6 months in critical care; Night shift on the Weekend Respiratory Therapist role at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Hiram, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (CoARC or CAAHP) with minimally 20 quarter hours of science
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care Required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist Required
- Respiratory Care Prof Required
