Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, perform general and critical care respiratory procedures, and manage respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery. Perform blood gas analysis and interpretation while maintaining and managing equipment. Deliver patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas. This position floats between Adult and NICU units. Requires an Associate's Degree in respiratory therapy sciences, current BLS and NRP certifications, and state licensure. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 available.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in respiratory therapy sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BLS and NRP
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies in both adult and neonatal areas
Desired Qualifications
- Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
