Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, critical care respiratory procedures, and neonatal respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery. Conduct blood gas analysis, maintain and manage ventilators including Servo I and HFOV systems, and assist with bronchoscopy. Provide patient and family education across adult, medical/surgical, and NICU areas while monitoring compliance with pulmonary disease and sleep disorder therapies. This full-time night shift covers South Campus units including the ED, behavioral health, and acute care rehab. Candidates must hold an Associate's degree, RRT licensure, and current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care
- Successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
- Current certifications in BCLS
- Current certifications in ACLS
- Current certifications in NRP
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies in both adult and neonatal areas
