Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory procedures, and respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery. Conduct blood gas analysis and interpretation while managing equipment and providing education to patients and families in adult and neonatal areas. Deliver care across 32 adult ICU beds, 12 adult CICU beds, and the Level 3 Neonatal ICU, supporting over 25,000 annual patients at this Level 2 Trauma Center. Requires RRT licensure, current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and an Associate's degree. New graduates are welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous working experience or clinical rotations
- Great communication skills
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS
