Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, and respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery. Conduct blood gas analysis and interpretation while maintaining and managing equipment. Provide patient and family education across adult and neonatal areas. Manage care for over 25,000 patients yearly at a Level 2 Trauma Center with 32 adult ICU beds and a Level 3 NICU. Requires RRT licensure, current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences. Dayshift, Nightshift, and WEO schedules available with a competitive sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous working experience or clinical rotations
- Great communication skills
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS
