Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory procedures, and respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery. Conduct blood gas analysis and interpretation while maintaining equipment and providing patient and family education across adult and neonatal areas. Manage care for over 25,000 patients annually at our Level 2 Trauma Center with 32 adult ICU beds and a Level 3 NICU. Requires Registered Respiratory Therapist certification, Georgia licensure, and current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Dayshift, nightshift, and WEO schedules available with tuition assistance and 401K matching.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous working experience or clinical rotations
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS
