Job Summary
As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care for adults and neonates, including patient assessments, general and critical care procedures, neonatal care in NICU, blood gas analysis/interpretation, and maintenance/education of equipment. The role supports both adult and neonatal areas with emphasis on RT procedures, protocols-driven care, and patient/family education, contributing to a high-volume, trauma-informed facility with NICU capabilities and pediatric services.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed by the State of Georgia
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS
- Great communication skills
