Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general and critical care respiratory procedures in adult areas, conduct blood gas analysis, and manage all equipment while providing patient education. Maintain strict adherence to protocols for respiratory care and critical care interventions. Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, RRT licensure, and BCLS/ACLS certifications upon hire, with PALS certification within 60 days. This role is based at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
