Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general respiratory care and critical care protocols in adult care areas, conduct blood gas analysis, and maintain all equipment while providing patient education. Complete BCLS and ACLS certifications upon hire, obtain RRT licensure from the State of Georgia, and secure PALS certification within 60 days. Join the Respiratory Therapy team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
