Job Summary
PRN Night Respiratory Therapist role collaborating with multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based protocols; requires licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS within 1 year), Texas licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC registration, and a minimum of 6 months respiratory care experience. Focus on clear communication, accountability, collaboration, ongoing professional growth, and building a winning team; hospital setting with emphasis on high-level patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must obtain within 1 year of hire
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
