Job Summary
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory disorders by administering therapies, medications, and oxygen support per physician orders. Manage airway interventions, educate patients and families on treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize outcomes and support emergency critical care when needed. Work varying day shifts at Mercy Hospital Washington in a full-time role for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
Desired Qualifications
- Previous acute care, hospital, ICU, emergency department, or critical care experience
- Strong communication and patient education skills
