Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments and testing, provide patient education, and monitor compliance with prescribed therapies for pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders. Maintain BCLS certification upon hire and ensure all skills competencies are validated per department orientation requirements. This role supports the Respiratory Therapy team at Piedmont Medical Care Corporation, focusing on direct patient care and therapy management within the Buckhead Pulm Sleep unit.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care
- successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
