Job Summary
Perform patient assessments and testing, provide patient education, and monitor compliance with prescribed therapies related to pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders. Maintain RRT registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care and Georgia state licensure, plus BCLS certification upon hire. Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences and prior respiratory care experience or successful completion of department-specific orientation with skills validation. Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care
- successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
