Job Summary
Perform patient assessments, execute general respiratory care procedures and critical care protocols in adult care areas, conduct blood gas analysis, and manage all equipment while providing patient education. Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements for the RRT, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This role supports the respiratory therapy team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, focusing on adult patient care and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
