Job Summary
Develop test strategies, plans, and cases during requirements and design phases while ensuring coverage via a requirements traceability matrix. Execute both automated and manual test scripts, manage defect identification and resolution, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. Perform functional, non-functional, mobile, security, and AODA (WCAG 2.0) testing across web, mobile, and RESTful API implementations. Write Quality Assurance Standard Operating Procedures, manage test and data environments, and provide status reporting to project managers and IAM teams. Back up QA team members as needed for absences.
Required Qualifications
- 1-year contract (252 business days) - possible extension
- ONSITE 5 days - 222 Jarvis Street, Toronto
- Security Level: CRJMC
- Test Automation Frameworks: Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, JUnit, or similar tools) for functional and regression testing across multiple platforms
- Scripting & Programming Languages: Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, NestJS etc., with the ability to write robust and reusable automation scripts
- Test Case Automation: Demonstrated experience in automating test cases for complex, large-scale web applications, mobile application and RESTful API implementation, ensuring high test coverages
- Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Experience in API testing and automation using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar for testing RESTful and SOAP APIs
- Functional and non-functional testing

- Test data management
- Test environment management
- Data migration testing and other testing as required
- Back up other members of the QA team as required to cover for absences
