Job Summary
Create effective, user-friendly interfaces and design overall product functionality to ensure a great user experience, iterating based on user testing. Conceive and conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, translating findings into sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Design user interfaces for digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as required. Take a user-centered design approach to rapidly test and iterate designs, utilizing proficiency with Figma, Canvas, and similar tools. This 9-month contract requires Public Sector experience and includes 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work in Downtown, Toronto.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools
- Experience conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Experience with UX/UI to conduct service-design, UX/UI design
- Experience with FIgma, Canvas and similar tools
- Public Sector experience
