Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operations for Government of Ontario datacenters and cloud providers including Azure, AWS, IBM, and Google. Design advanced security configurations for on-premise and cloud hosting environments, while assisting with complex migrations from on-premise to public cloud. Improve application support through patching and monitoring, and integrate secure cloud services for applications. Provide on-call standby support for networking and security, handling daily operational changes, incident management, and ticket closure in adherence to SLA metrics. Acquire network captures to root cause issues and document technical MoPs for all changes. Work on network and security project initiatives alongside keeping-the-lights-on activities. Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.
Required Qualifications
- Deep networking experience with various technologies
- Incident response experience
- Must have cloud expertise in networking technologies
- Must have client relationship skills

- Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Networking (ACI) and VMware(NSX)
- Demonstrated knowledge and operational support experience with Azure/AWS/GCP/IBM Cloud providers or On-Premise Cloud environments that are of the same scale as the Government of Ontario Cloud or BPS environments
- Demonstrated knowklege in scripting/coding using Agile/DevOps practices to improve service deliver
- Daily usage of all Network Tools to provide proactive support (NNMI, HPNA, Nexus Insight, Netscout, Elastic, Algo Sec)
