Job Summary
Manage large-scale, complex, high-risk IT and public sector projects, including Request for Bids development, baseline data collection, and vendor transition planning. Ensure deliverables meet client business requirements regarding time, scope, and budget while adhering to OPS project management methodologies. Lead executive reporting, stakeholder engagement, and strategy development for enterprise initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in Ontario's Broader Public Sector, IT infrastructure management, and Windows 11 migration strategies. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills to resolve complex issues and negotiate with key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Public Sector Experience
- Experience managing public sector projects involving IT procurement
- Knowledge of Category Management phases and approach
- Knowledge of OPS and Broader Public Sectors in Ontario
- Knowledge of OPS/IT Project Management governance
- Experience managing IT Infrastructure and related services vendor transitions
- Knowledge of ITS services and related transition services
- OPS Enterprise Project Management requirements
- Experience working with key stakeholders
- Communication skills to negotiate and documenting any process related intelligence
- OPS exp
- Led large GOV projects
- Blend of exp working with stakeholders / leading IT projects
- Familiarity with ITS - enterprise PMO exp
- Vendor management and transitions
- Windows 11 migration project / migration strategy /digitalworkplace project / work-print project
- Exp with migration project - ability to communicate part of migration
- Strong communication - demonstrated exp
