Job Summary

Lead and conduct business analysis to assess client business problems and document requirements for I&IT solutions. Interact with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, and analyze needs. Perform business modeling, use case modeling, and data flow modeling for systems under implementation. Facilitate user requirement sessions, product backlog grooming, and Epic/user story development. Collaborate on prioritization and support Agile project methodologies managed through Microsoft DevOps. Define business rules and non-functional requirements while ensuring compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act standards. Oversee development lifecycle elements including competitor analysis and future state lean process design. Maintain excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Hybrid work arrangement with up to three days onsite at Guelph or GTA locations as directed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience
  • Lead and conduct business analysis to assess clients business problems/opportunities and document the business requirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined
  • Conduct business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for IT systems under implementation
  • Facilitate user requirement sessions, product backlog grooming, creation of Epics and user stories development, analysis and documentation of complex process flow and calculations
  • Collaborate and support Client with prioritization of user stories
  • Experience in Agile project methodologies and managing requirements through Microsoft DevOps
  • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Experience in product design, competitor analysis, and overseeing all elements of development lifecycle
  • Up to 3 days a week onsite availability to the Guelph office location or any GTA office locations as directed/required by the client

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to create future state lean process including change management
  • Experience with IT software tools such as Microsoft Visio, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Previous experience in software and web development
