• •Experience in working with and analyzing large and diverse data sets
• •Strong knowledge of design, development, and implementation experience utilizing Analytics technologies involving the use of administrative postsecondary data
• •Knowledge of Statistics and modelling techniques such as econometrics, theory of Probability and Statistics - inference based on survey data, confidence intervals, regression models - multinomial linear, logistic, ridge, machine learning algorithms - training, model evaluation, hyper parameters search techniques
• •Knowledge of advanced data visualization tools and techniques
• •Knowledge of statistics and analytical tools such as R/SAS/SPSS
• •Knowledge of BI technologies such as R Shiny, Power BI, Tableau
• •Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
• •Ability to communicate with people in a wide variety of areas and at various levels from technical specialists to senior management

• •Experience designing high quality interfaces to present information in a meaningful way to end users
• •Broad understanding of data management, financial and business analysis, database architecture, and information visualization
• •Proficiency in query languages and experience constructing complex query statements
• •Experience in one or more programming or scripting languages
• •Strong investigative and logic skills
• •Proficiency in mathematics and statistics
• •Functional area experience as required
• •Demonstrated experience with database design (SQL Server, Oracle)
• •Experience developing BI and analytics Roadmaps for clients (e.g. Microsoft BI)
• •Working knowledge of advanced data visualization tools and techniques (statistical graphics, plots, information graphics)
• •Some tools that would be of interest are Rshiny, Google Analytics, Tableau and Power BI
• •Demonstrated experience with data preparation and scripting tools (such as OpenRefine, Python and DAX)
• •Demonstrated experience with a range of analytical methods, techniques and tools: statistical analysis and modelling, data mining, machine learning and algorithms, natural language processing, business performance management, benchmarking text mining, predicative/prescriptive analysis
• •Demonstrated experience with statistics and analytical tools such as R/SAS/SPSS
• •Demonstrated experience with data warehousing and dashboards

• •Experience with developing monitoring and error notification processes to ensure data is updated as designed
