Job Summary
Provide Sleep Day Technologist services as a PRN, including scoring overnight sleep studies (sleep/wake stages and clinical events) and generating reports; educate patients on CPAP therapy and perform mask fittings; download CPAP data cards; troubleshoot CPAP masks and machines to improve compliance; coordinate with DME for initial set ups, prepare and fax paperwork for initial setups and new equipment, and respond to patient questions about equipment; respond to EMR messages and document patient activity; coordinate home sleep studies and instruct patients on proper use of home sleep units, then upload results for physician review; fax sleep study results to referring physicians; troubleshoot sleep software and equipment; evaluate sleep-related equipment and inventory; maintain cleanliness of the lab; communicate with night techs regarding patient needs; perform other duties as required by providers or administration; position requires High School Diploma or equivalent, RPSGT credential and Virginia state license; standard lab duties with physical demands including sitting, occasional standing/walking, manual dexterity, and ability to view computer screens; Pulmonary Associates of Richmond is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
