RPS After School Instructional Aide (3 hours per day)

Assist the teacher in achieving objectives by working with individual students or small groups to promote appropriate behavior patterns and enhance skill development. Record data for IEPs, construct learning materials, and supervise lunch programs to encourage student independence. Support students during curricular activities outside the classroom, manage transportation entry and exit, and maintain instructional supplies while performing basic housecleaning. Provide self-help assistance for hygiene and health, review safety techniques, and act as a playground aide when required. Maintain good rapport with students, parents, and staff while performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
