Job Summary
Coordinate and manage the reconditioning, PDI, and recall processes for New/Used vehicles, overseeing a team of Technicians and Porters to ensure efficient, timely, and quality-ready vehicles. Prepare comprehensive estimates with detailed work, parts, costs, and timing; maintain staff scheduling to meet demand; participate in service and sales meetings to provide updates on performance; liaise with parts and service teams to ensure timely recall completion; manage Reconditioning within the RPR system, ensure correct labor times and pricing, and uphold AutoNation standards. Demonstrate focus on a seamless customer experience and collaboration with Service Director/Manager to optimize after-sales performance and vehicle readiness.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- ASE certification preferred
- Production related experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Valid in-state driver’s license and safe driving record
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Professional appearance
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Previous industry knowledge preferred
