Job Summary
Senior FP&A Analyst at an independent wealth and investment management platform. The role partners with executive leadership to drive forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and performance reporting, influencing operational and strategic decisions. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining financial forecasts and long-range planning analyses, supporting monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting across business units, conducting variance analyses, preparing executive materials and dashboards, and performing strategic analyses on initiatives like headcount and expansion. The ideal candidate translates complex financial information into actionable insights, collaborates cross-functionally, and helps improve reporting infrastructure and financial visibility. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting, 4–6 years in FP&A or related roles, experience in financial services/wealth management, strong financial modeling and ERP/tools experience (NetSuite, SAP, Hyperion, Essbase, Microsoft Dynamics), high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and an MBA/CPA/CFA is a plus. The role offers exposure to executive leadership and a path for growth within a fast-growing, national-expansion environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4–6 years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or related analytical roles
- Experience within financial services, wealth management, investment management, professional services, or other complex multi-entity environments strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
- Experience working with ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and planning tools such as NetSuite, SAP, Hyperion, Essbase, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong presentation skills in PowerPoint
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of financial and operational data into meaningful business insights
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting processes, and forecasting methodologies
- Experience preparing executive-facing materials and presentations
- MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is a plus
