Job Summary
Lead multi-year heavy civil construction project as Survey Project Manager / Project RPLS in Houston, overseeing project management, invoicing, and coordination with the site’s general contractor and subcontractors. Responsibilities include reviewing survey work orders, scheduling crews, documenting re-stake requests, and maintaining both field and office survey procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables. Also identify and recruit key personnel, and mentor/train survey staff to support professional growth. Requires 5+ years licensed surveying experience, Texas RPLS, and proficiency with Trimble Access and TBC. Will contribute to a dynamic, growth-oriented team with ownership opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional licensed surveying experience
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the State of Texas
- Proficiency with Trimble Access and Trimble Business Center (TBC)
- Strong background in construction surveying and staking
- Knowledge of current surveying technologies, principles, and best practices
- Ability to mentor and lead staff within a collaborative environment
