Job Summary
Senior Service Technician responsible for repairing, servicing, and building standard and custom hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. Provides guidance to less experienced Service Technicians. Performs maintenance, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, parts preparation, fabrication, machining, welding, testing, and shipment preparation. Responds to customer inquiries, provides quotes, and handles order entry. May handle more challenging inquiries due to experience and training. Drives repeat business through strong customer relationships and supports process improvements. Requires reading hydraulic schematics, strong mechanical knowledge, safe operation of shop equipment, and excellent communication skills. May require overtime and weekend work. Location: Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and at least five (5) years of shop experience or an equivalent combination.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
- Strong communication skills required.
