Job Summary
Royalty Label Analyst role focusing on preparing complex royalty statements for artists, producers, profit participation, and mechanicals under manager direction; compile income allocation schedules and analytical reports; review contracts and licenses to ensure accuracy of reported royalties; meet hard reporting deadlines; maintain confidentiality; and perform other royalty-related duties. Requires advanced Excel skills and knowledge of music royalties; experience with Record Maestro and Music Maestro is a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities are essential; must work well in a team and be highly organized.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Formulas, Macros, Pivot Tables and Linking)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business (or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of music royalties experience recommended
- Familiarity with royalty contracts and royalty calculations preferred
