Job Summary
Engage landowners, attorneys, and survey crews as the primary point of contact for pipeline and surface easement acquisitions. Negotiate and document agreements for road access while maintaining detailed records of project milestones and progress. Liaise with the Project Manager to provide timely updates on acquisition status and coordinate with contractors to ensure deadlines are met. Communicate legal terms and documentation requirements clearly to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with client standards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities. Submit a resume and cover letter outlining relevant experience in land acquisition, pipeline, or public utility sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in easement acquisition
- Background in Pipeline Acquisition
- Background in Department of Transportation
- Background in Public Utility
- Background in Oil & Gas
- Background in Real Estate
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to explain legal terms and project details in simple, clear language
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders at once
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with industry-specific software for document management and communication
- Problem-solving skills
- Proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Detail-oriented focus on accuracy in documentation and contract execution
