Job Summary
Roving Maintenance Technician role supporting daily maintenance operations across multifamily properties, performing repairs and preventative maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, exterior structures), conducting inspections, and assisting the Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include completing resident work orders, preparing vacant apartments for new residents per the Total Quality Make Ready program, providing emergency/on-call maintenance support, coordinating with vendors, and upholding safety and quality standards to ensure resident satisfaction and move-in readiness. Requires HVAC certification, leadership and strong communication, and flexibility for on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC certification required
- CPO certification preferred
- Proven experience in multifamily property maintenance, facilities management, or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation
