Job Summary
Maintenance Technician in Salem supporting Affinity-managed apartment communities; responsibilities include completing work orders within 24 hours, inspections of common areas, preventative repairs, pool/spa maintenance (if applicable), turnovers within three days of vacancy, on-call after-hours emergencies on rotating schedule, assisting with inventory and maintaining an orderly maintenance shop, performing repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting, caulking, minor HVAC, and general carpentry; interact with current and future residents in a professional, courteous, and non-discriminatory manner to maintain resident satisfaction; ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes; extensive exposure to groundskeeping tasks and occasional office duties; requires 1+ years of experience in multi-family maintenance, High School Diploma or equivalent, and owning hand tools.
Required Qualifications
