Job Summary
Roving Senior Maintenance Supervisor overseeing maintenance operations across RCAM Florida properties. Lead by example with hands-on repairs while standardizing preventive maintenance, supervising on-site teams, and coordinating across multiple communities. Responsibilities include inspecting and troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, pools, irrigation, generators, and life-safety systems; reviewing and closing AppFolio work orders; addressing deferred maintenance; supporting during emergencies, staffing shortages, and post-storm operations; training maintenance personnel; assisting with scopes of work, contractor bids, budgeting, and capital projects; and ensuring code compliance, safety procedures, and operational consistency across the portfolio. Requires travel between properties, on-call availability, and a valid Florida driver’s license. Requires CPO certification; additional OSHA and HVAC/electrical/mechanical certifications are highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on facilities or maintenance experience
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required
- HVAC, electrical, or mechanical certifications strongly preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete hands-on repairs independently
- Comfortable participating in on-call rotation and responding to emergency situations
