ROV Supervisor (Offshore)

Job Summary
Lead, coordinate, and supervise all ROV activities during assigned shift operations, ensuring safe and effective execution of inspection, survey, maintenance, and light intervention scopes. Oversee the piloting and operation of inspection and light Work-Class ROV systems, including associated tooling and sensors, while monitoring telemetry and video feeds for diagnostics and issue resolution. Ensure operational compliance with project work packs, client specifications, and IMCA guidance by reviewing execution plans, pre-dive checklists, and operational reporting. Escalate operational risks or anomalies to the Base as needed. This safety-critical role aligns with IMCA C005 Job Category R01 and requires IMCA-recognised Competence Certificates. You will report to the ROV Manager and work offshore on specialized vessels, occasionally in the base for system maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years ROV experience
- At least 180 days' operational time as a Senior Pilot/Technician (IMCA R02)
- Demonstrated leadership of ROV operations, including shift supervision, task planning, and coordination
- Proven track record of piloting and overseeing complex subsea operations such as intervention, tooling deployment, and inspection tasks
- IMCA ROV Supervisor logbook with verifiable entries evidencing supervisory responsibilities and digital operations exposure
- IMCA-recognised Competence Certificate or Portfolio for ROV Supervisor (R01)
- All modules GWO or OPITO approved BOSIET with CA-EBS, and OEUK Medical (including Bi-Deltoid shoulder measurements)
Desired Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in marine, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering
- High voltage certification / awareness training
- Experienced with Plant Maintenance Systems (marad)
