Job Summary
Schedule and sequence delivery routes in RoadNet and Mainframe to match customer orders with appropriate loads while balancing trailer sizes and weights. Build cost-effective routes by working closely with Sales and Warehouse Departments to determine delivery feasibility and resolve non-routine issues. Prepare daily reports for route changes, sequence updates, and new customer requests while maintaining routing software parameters. Requires a high school diploma, four years of related experience, and proficiency in English and computer skills for data entry and report generation. Full-time role with Sunday through Thursday hours from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm at a rate of $23 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- A minimum of 4 years in related environment
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
- Must have computer skills – data entry, general report generation, spreadsheet design, data manipulation, mainframe downloads
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Possess ability to resolve a variety of issues of fairly non-routine nature with some independence
- Ability to work scheduled hours and any required overtime
