Job Summary
Schedule and sequence routes using routing software to match customer orders to loads, balance loads by trailer size/weight, and build cost-effective routes that meet customer needs. Work with Sales and Warehouse to determine delivery feasibility, and prepare daily reports on route changes, sequence changes, and new customer requests. Maintain routing software parameters (RoadNet and Mainframe) while coordinating with internal teams to ensure efficient distribution.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Minimum 4 years in related environment
- Must read/write/communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
- Must have computer skills – data entry, general report generation, spreadsheet design, data manipulation, mainframe downloads
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Ability to work scheduled hours and any required overtime
