Route Supervisor

Job Summary
Route Supervisors are responsible for the supervision of a group of drivers to ensure safe services to customers. Manage the daily activities and performance of route drivers; train, coach, and direct employees to improve their overall performance; monitor and enforce quality and safety standards and ensure all compliance goals are met or exceeded; plan, distribute, monitor, and follow-up on daily route assignments; conduct investigations for accidents, injuries, and property damage claims; fill in during the absence of other supervisors/office employees or drivers; supervise 6-20 employees; requires knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations and ability to read maps; overtime, nights, and weekends may be required; valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least a valid Class B CDL
- Must have a valid DOT Medical Card
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
- Six to twenty direct reports supervision experience preferred
- 2+ years of truck driving experience is a plus
- Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations
- Ability to drive a truck with manual transmission is a plus
