Job Summary
Route Supervisor role overseeing a team of 6–20 drivers, ensuring safe service to customers while supporting management with hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation. Responsible for daily route planning, monitoring quality and safety standards, enforcing compliance goals, and conducting driver observations and vehicle inspections. Will run routes as needed, manage attendance and documentation, investigate incidents, and fill in for other supervisors. Requires CDL Class B, DOT Medical Card, ability to read maps, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a physically active, safety-focused environment. Prior management experience and waste industry knowledge are a plus; must be able to work varied hours including nights and weekends, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- DOT Medical Card
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must be able to read and speak the English language
- Must be able to read maps
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
- Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
- Experience in truck driving (2+ years) is a plus
- Previous management experience is preferred
