Job Summary
Deliver Krispy Kreme products to assigned customer locations while verifying quantities, quality, and accuracy at each stop. Operate company vehicles safely, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Load, transport, and unload products with proper stacking, completing delivery documentation and handling returns or credits as needed. Provide courteous service to customers, assist with unloading, and support sales or merchandising initiatives when assigned. Maintain delivery equipment and perform basic cleaning tasks at customer sites or in the shop. Communicate route issues or operational needs to management and utilize required logs. Work variable schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate company delivery vehicles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic mathematical and recordkeeping skills
- Basic literacy skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and driving record review
- Standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and grasping
- Writing, filing documents, and completing delivery paperwork
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects
- Driving company vehicles for extended periods
- Communicating with customers, shop team members, and management
- Standing and walking for extended periods during deliveries
- Lifting and carrying ranges: 0–10 lbs: Frequent; 11–25 lbs: Frequent; 26–50 lbs: Occasional with assistance; 51–75 lbs: Seldom; team-lift only
- Pushing and pulling approximately 10–40 lbs of force occasionally
- Frequent use of hands for driving, handling products, and paperwork
- Ability to follow delivery schedules, route plans, and procedures
- Ability to maintain attention to safety, accuracy, and customer service
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and time-sensitive deliveries
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Variable schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous route delivery, driving, or food service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of local routes and customer locations
