Job Summary
Conduct laundry deliveries and pickups from customer locations while verifying vehicle systems through pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Drive a van or truck along established routes to service and sell within an existing customer base, ensuring all items on delivery receipts are included and obtaining confirmation signatures. Handle loading and unloading of the vehicle for next-day operations, including moving rolling carts up to 250 lbs. Upsell and cross-sell products and services to grow the customer base, negotiate renewals, and report feedback or vehicle issues to a supervisor. Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record and pass pre-employment requirements including drug/alcohol and DOT physicals. Work indoor and outdoor positions in all seasons while managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing situations with limited direction.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (3 years)
- Must be 21 year of age per DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements (drug/alcohol test, fit-for-duty test, DOT physical)
- Able to read, write & count
- Must be able to use an electronic handheld/cell phone
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
- Strong teamwork skills- ready and willing to work closely with team members
- Great people skills, communications skills & great client relations and customer service skills
- Ability to remain organized and balance incoming customer requests/issues in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with limited direction on a daily basis
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, and be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, lift, push and walk
- Must be able to drive a truck/van with ease and be able to sit for extended periods of time while driving the delivery truck
- Must have the physical ability to move rolling carts of varying weights – up to and exceeding approximately 250lbs.
- Ability to work during all seasons with exposure to outside elements
