Job Summary
Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division by driving a route and servicing/selling to existing customers; duties include delivering and picking up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products and other facility service products, building rapport with key decision makers, growing the existing customer base through upselling and cross-selling, negotiating service agreement renewals and inventory control while ensuring quality standards and compliance with DOT regulations; requires active driver's license, DOT medical certification, HS diploma or GED (or military service), strong customer service orientation, self-motivation, teamwork, and a positive, organized, service-oriented attitude.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified candidates must meet all requirements outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
- Have an active driver's license
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain a DOT medical certification
- Provide documentation regarding their previous employment
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- A High School diploma, GED or Military Service
- The ability to demonstrate a strong customer service orientation
